General
If you're looking for an electric bass guitar suitable for heavy rock and metal, then the Jackson CBXNT IV is for you. With humbucker pickups and a neck-through construction, you'll have what you need for producing heavy sounds with endless sustain. The active 3-band EQ ensures plenty of punch and aggression combined with sharp precision and definition. In terms of looks, the CBXNT can best be described as a combination of classic and modern that won't leave you disappointed.
Jackson High Output humbucker pickup
At the heart of this bass beats a pair of humbucker pickups, one of which is high output, and a 3-band active tone circuit. The pickups have been designed by Jackson together with EMG and Seymour Duncan. As a result, they deliver a wide variety of sounds from crystal clear to extra low and distorted. The possibility to produce a well-defined, low and heavy sound is what makes the CBXNT IV bass excellent for heavy rock and metal music. The basswood body is lightweight and gives excellent resonance.
One-piece neck-through construction
As already mentioned, the CBXNT has a neck-through construction that adds endless sustain to the wide variety of sounds. The robust neck is made from one piece of graphite reinforced maple for extra stability. The fretboard is made of rosewood and features the familiar pearloid sharkfin inlays. It has a compound radius and 24 jumbo frets for optimal comfort and easy navigation over the entire fretboard.
