General

When the first ever Fender Precision Bass dropped in 1951, it brought a four-string revolution with it. More than half a century later, the snug body and powerful output of this icon of an instrument is still the go-to for bassists across every genre and playing style. The spiritual successor to the Standard Series P-Bass, the Fender Player Precision Bass takes a timeless classic, slaps on a new and exclusively developed split-coil and sharpens up the playability for a new age. This sonic stomper has been built with pride in Mexico.

The Fender Player Precision Bass: Authentic Sound & Solid Foundations

The body shape has barely changed since the first incarnation and here, comes carved from a slab of alder, which has a naturally high density to ensure excellent resonance. This backs up the friendly and familiar tonal punch and extra-solid foundation delivered by the Seymour Duncan SPB-1 Split Single-Coil Precision Bass pickup that sits in the middle position. Twist the single master tone and master volume pots to bend and shape that classic and endlessly adaptable sonic character to your will.

Pure Playing Comfort

While the look and sound are certainly on point, the playability of this next-gen model hasn't been left behind. This fully upgraded model now features a satin-gloss coated neck with a modern-C profile to complete a fast and agile feel, while the traditional 9.5 inch fretboard radius supports smooth note navigation all the way up to the twentieth fret.
