General

The Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition '62 Precision Bass manages to capture the look, playability and sound of an early sixties Fender classic. For a start, this model has been given the Relic treatment, so wear and tear has been hand-applied in all the right places to give this four-string the played-in and much-loved feel of an antique P-Bass, while the contouring of the timeless Precision body shape has been paired with a quarter-sawn maple neck with a '60s Style Oval C Back-Shape profile for an immediately comfy and familiar playing feel. This throwback Precision Bass comes complete with a deluxe hardshell case, a strap and a Certificate of Authenticity.

Fender Limited Edition '62 Precision Bass Relic: Balance & Dynamics

The familiar core sound of this iconic bass is provided by a two-piece, specially selected alder body, a bolt-on quarter-sawn maple neck and a dark, flat-laminated rosewood fretboard that combine to guarantee a full foundation framed by some lightly rounded off punch and perfectly balanced tone. To polish everything off, warm and vintage amplified sound is assured by a single hand-wound '62 P-Bass split-coil pickup that doesn't just ensure classic P-Bass sound, but outstanding dynamic response and clarity.
