Especially for aspiring bass guitar legends and virtuosos, LTD developed this beautiful RB-1006BM Honey Natural. This 6-string electric bass guitar is fitted with an extra-slender bolt-on neck and a double cutaway that together allow for a rocket-like approach of all positions. The semi-transparent lacquer (Honey Natural) gives the RB-1006BMHN a warm look and beautifully accentuates the marvellous grain of the Burled Maple top and Swamp Ash body. The rugged pickups and electronics are made by Aguilar.

Full, clear sound

Its Swamp Ash body gives the RB-1006BM Honey Natural more than just a pretty look, it also keeps the weight of the bass guitar low and ensures a full, sparkling sound, as well as powerful response and great sustain. The maple fretboard gives this bass guitar a nicely clear edge that keeps the sound of this instrument nicely defined and far from muddy, despite its six strings.

Setting the tone

Aguilar made special 6-string pickups and electronics for this guitar, resulting in a balanced sound with a slightly clearer sound from the split single-coil neck pickup compared to that of the single-coil bridge pickup. You can easily adjust the overall balance and volume with the two potentiometers. Additionally, there are two more knobs to adjust the bass and treble on the built-in Aguilar OBP-2 active preamp with 2-band tone control. The preamp is powered by a 9V battery and is beloved for its ultra-low self-noise and large range.
