The Contemporary Active Jazz Bass HH: A Modern Character

In terms of looks, the Fender-subsidiary have blessed this electric J-style bass with an evidently modern character. The matt finish of the body, the matching headstock and the black chrome-plated hardware all serve to back this up, but it's really only when you plug this Squier bass into your amp that you find out just how contemporary it sounds. Two ceramic humbuckers have been mounted to ensure a brutally punchy foundation sound gets sent to the 9V active preamp, which can then be nicely tweaked using the tone, blend and bass/treble boost pots to match your style.
