The two Yosemite single-coils on board this bass were newly developed. They have flat staggered poles that boost their output and a shellac coating that prevents problems with feedback. Two volume potentiometers allow you to find the perfect sound mix. The tone potentiometer has a Greasebucket circuit which gives you greater control over the higher frequencies too and well as keeping the lower frequencies in check.

The American Performer Jazz Bass has the familiar offset body that's known for its comfort and that theme continues with features like the maple neck's modern C profile and the maple fretboard's 9.5-inch radius.
