The Fender Precision Bass as we now know it, first saw the light of day in 1958. This American Original '50s version has all of the same essentials as the original and iconic classic. This classic Precisionis fitted with a maple fretboard, 20 tall frets, a 9.5-inch fretboard radius and a thick, bolt-on C-profile neck, finished with high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer that allows the wood to breathe and age naturally.
American Original ‘50s Precision
This Precision Bass is mounted with a Pure Vintage '58 passive split single-coil pickup that delivers a warm sound with well-known and loved growling mids. The pickup has enamelled coils and vintage-style wiring to ensure an authentic sound, plucked straight out of the '50s. Volume and tone pots your sound to perfection. The bridge has four steel saddles and the head is fitted with Pure Vintage Reverse Open-Gear machine heads. The anodised, aluminium pickguard give the authentic and faithful final touch the feel of this fabled bass.
