The Ibanez PCBE12OPN (Open Pore Natural) is an electro-acoustic bass guitar with a finish that has been kept as thin as possible. The result is an instrument on which you can actually feel the wood grain from body to neck. Apart from a special feeling when playing, this also produces as lovely sound. The wood can freely vibrate, which lets the sound characteristics of the mahogany really shine through. The entire body is made of mahogany, a type of wood with a medium high density, that guarantees a warm sound without being dull.

Grand Concert body for plenty of mid tones

The Grand Concert body shape produces a sound full of mid tones. A maple neck adds clear high tones that are reinforced by the rosewood fretboard. The Ibanez PCBE12OPN has an AEQ-2T preamp with a tuner on top of the body. This also includes controls for volume, bass and treble that are easy to find even on a dark stage.

Leuke beginners bas. Heel erg leuk dat hij ook versterkt kan spelen. De actie van de snaren is goed dus je hebt niet super veel geratel. Super blij mee!

Gitaar kwam keurig verpakt en op tijd binnen. Voor 22:00 besteld en de dag erna "in" de bus.
Top kam bij dit exemplaar precies goed afgesteld.
E-snaar niet helemaal octaaf zuiver maar ik had geluk, het kan veel erger.
Wat dat betreft is het maar de vraag hoe een gitaar van de foto in werkelijkheid is en speelt.
Hals voelt prima en er is op geen enkel punt gekletter van de snaren te horen.
Ik heb geen ervaring met bas gitaren, ik ben gitarist.
Dus over een goed bas geluid kan ik weinig vertellen.
Het klinkt laag dus het zal wel goed zijn.
Voorzichtig op de gitaar versterker getest en vet volume balans lijkt me goed.
De stemmechanieken zitten er afschuwelijk scheef op. Ze wijzen naar boven en de andere kant weer naar beneden. Vrijdag middag klusje?
Ze werken wel goed.
De zwarte binding van de klankkast voelt scherp aan. Het had wel wat mooier rond afgeschuurd gekund want nu staat de scherpe rand in je rechter onderarm gedrukt.
Eelt kweken dus of een schuurpapiertje erlangs.
