At a frequency range that extends up to 100 kHz, they accurately reproduce the deepest bass tones and the highest trebles, and lay bare the essence of your favourite songs. You've guessed it - these headphones were designed specifically for high-resolution audio.

Sony MDR-1AB: 40mm driver

Protected by a stylish black exterior, the MDR-1AB headphones feature sensitive 40mm Liquid Crystal Polymer drivers, ensuring optimal clarity. Thanks to their in-line remote and microphone, they are compatible with your Android smartphone or iPhone, and their circumaural design, slim metal headband and soft leather ear pads make them comfortable to wear. The MDR-1ABs have foldable ear cups, so you can safely store them in your case or bag when you take them with you.

Balanced cable

The MDR-1AB headphones are equipped with a balanced cable, comprised of four silver-coated copper wires and independent ground wires for both channels (in blue and yellow), guaranteeing clear, precise sound). As such, you’re able to enjoy an exceptionally clear, precise sound. Thanks to Sony, you can experience your favourite music the way it was meant to be heard!
