The Fostex TH500RP is a set of professional level headphones that combine patented Fostex RP-technology with outstanding and unique design. The Regulated Phase Technology ensures that these headphones are capable of retaining transparency even when the input volume is incredibly high. De toon balans over het hele frequentie spectrum is uitstekend, het is van een organische natuurlijkheid waardoor de muziek beleving enorm is.
Detaillering is top waardoor je bekende muziek opnieuw gaat ontdekken.
Plaatsing, diepte en ruimtelijkheid zijn in de juiste proporties waarmee ik wil zeggen dat je netjes vooraan in de zaal staat en niet midden tussen de band of ergens achter bij de bar.
Deze hoofdtelefoon kan elke muziek stijl met gevoel weergeven voor mij een pre.
Nergens breekt het op of word het irritant, geen resonanties of frequentie boost.
Recentelijk heb ik vrij intensief naar de Sennheiser HD800 en beyerdynamic T1 geluisterd deze hebben mij minder kunnen overtuigen zeker de HD800 vind ik in het laag wat dun en bij bepaalde muziek onnatuurlijk analytisch in het midden hoog gebied, is een kwestie van smaak natuurlijk. Geen ervaring met audeze of hifiman helaas.
Draag comfort is perfect zonder problemen uren vol te houden.

Hoofdtelefoon versterker in gebruik is een Violectric HPA V200, ik heb het gevoel dat dit een uitstekende match is.
Deze fostex th500rp heeft een goede dedicated hoofdtelefoon versterker nodig om zijn volle potentie te laten horen.
Kortom erg tevreden top product zeker gezien de prijs kwaliteit verhouding.
