General

The ENGL E850/100 is a high-end tube power amp with two 100-watt channels for maximum headroom. It's driven by 6L6GC tubes and has 2 switchable volumes per channel and 2 separate Presence and Depth controls. This surprisingly compact device has a dark finish with a brushed aluminium front panel, chrome knobs and black mesh with red LEDs behind the tubes. It's the ideal partner for the E570 Special Edition Preamp in looks and sound!

Features of the ENGL E850/100

As with every ENGL amplifier, the E850/100 Tube Poweramp is also equipped with innovative options. It features two different switchable volume controls per channel for toggling between rhythm and solo playing. To the right of that is the Sound Set section, which consists of two Presence and two Depth controls for using cleans and other EQ settings or overdrive. The ENGL E850/100 is equipped with two 4-ohm, two 8-ohm outputs and one 16-ohm output per channel for just about every speaker cabinet configuration imaginable.

Foot switch functionality

In order to toggle between Volume A/B and Sound Set A/B from a distance, the ENGL E850/100 Tube Poweramp has a stereo mini jack footswitch input. Connect an optional ENGL Z-4 footswitch or a MIDI switching system such as the ENGL Z-11 MIDI Switcher.
