The VOX amPlug is a revolutionary miniature guitar amplifier that you plug directly into your guitar. Typically, the only thing you have to provide yourself is the set of headphones, but with the VOX amPhone, you don't have to worry about that either! Here you have an amPlug built into a set of top-quality dynamic over-ear headphones by the famous Audio-Technica. The Lead model of the amPhone is based on the rough sound of a high-gain British tube amp, and now you can get that sound when you play riffs and solos whether you're sitting, standing or even walking about. It's really the ideal solution for home and travel, not to mention that it practically oozes tone.

VOX amPhone ACO30: built-in effects and AUX input

You'll find all of the amPlug controls on the left ear cup of the ACO30. Gain is available so you can adjust the amount of distortion or overdrive, and you also have tone and volume controls. Furthermore, VOX equipped the amPhone with built-in digital effects, and you can easily choose from reverb, delay and chorus with a dial. A 3.5mm stereo AUX input is also included so you can connect your MP3, iPod or cell phone so you can jam along with your favourite music or even with a backing track. You can enjoy the VOX amPhone for up to 16 hours on one pair of AAA batteries (included)

Can also be used as regular headphones

Just switch off the amp portion and you can use the Vox amPhone Lead like any conventional headphones. Unscrew the included 6.35mm jack plug adapter and you can connect the cable to any music source with a 3.5mm input. You'll enjoy fantastic sound quality, thanks to the two powerful 40mm drivers, which have a frequency range from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. Moreover, the ear cushions are nice and comfy, so you can listen to music for hours without being uncomfortable. The amPhone Leads are, finally, conveniently foldable, making it easy to take them along in your gig bag, for instance.
