After the success of its predecessors, the Phonitor and the Phonitor 2, SPL continues their range of high-quality headphone amplifiers with the Phonitor X. The Phonitor X produces the same high-quality sound as the other editions of the Pro-Fi series, but in addition, also features some new and exciting extra options in comparison to its predecessors. You can connect five stereo sources to this headphone amplifier, and what's more; the centre point, speaker angle, and crossfeed are all freely adjustable! You can even use an IR remote to adjust the overall volume of this silver Phonitor X to your liking.
Phonitor X: balanced and unbalanced sound reproduction
This SPL preamplifier offers connections for both unbalanced and balanced headphones. The advanced built-in dual power preamp tightens the bass response and, together with the optimised Phonitor Matrix, ensures balanced audio reproduction. Use the standard XLR or 4-pin XLR, or equip the Phonitor X with a DA converter. This will add an optical digital stereo, coax and USB to the available inputs.
Pro-Fi Series
SPL's Professional Fidelity (or Pro-Fi) series is rooted in professional studio technology, and optimised to produce high-quality and accurate audio reproduction.
