General
With Korg's Stageman 80, you can add a solid rhythm section to your solo performances. It's a 2x 40-watt stereo amplifier with a built-in drum machine featuring drums that were recorded live. That means you can have a 'live' rhythm section to play along with. The Stageman 80 utilises Korg's new Real Groove Technology to give you natural, musical-sounding phrases. Because the drum tracks were recorded live, they are of high quality, and changes in tempo retain a natural sound and flow too.
Built-in mixer
The Stageman 80 has a built-in mixer that allows you to connect a number of audio sources easily. There's an XLR input for connecting a microphone and two jack inputs for connecting a guitar, bass or other instrument. You'll also find an AUX input on board so that you can connect an external audio source like a smartphone or tablet. With a total of 80 watts of power, the Stageman 80 is perfect for smaller venues or even taking outdoors. This is made possible by its ability to run on six D batteries that'll give you up 20 hours of playing time.
Storage and editing
The Korg Stageman 80 even lets you record your performances with or without the rhythm section, and save them to an SD card. Tracks can also be played back on the Stageman 80 through the integrated card slot, and the speed of the tracks can be adjusted too. Finally, you can create playlists so that tracks are played in any order you specify.
