General
The Behringer PK110 is a sturdy 10" passive speaker loaded with custom-made, high-quality parts. As such, this plucky little lightweight unit is able to handle 480 Watt peaks and guarantee a truly high-end listening experience. The surprisingly good low-end performance stems from the extra deep punch provided by a 10" long-excursion LF driver, while lush trebles are courtesy of a state-of-the-art 1" compression finished with an ultra-wide, exponentially long horn for broad spread and optimal projection. Also, thanks to the 35mm top hat fitted on the bottom, mounting the PK110 on a regular speaker stand is a piece of cake.

Franchement surpris par ces petites enceintes , utilisées avec un Behringer PMP 1680S pour des Bars , petites salles ou terrasses en duo guitares voix avec parfois une basse en plus le son est bon voire très bon , que ce soit pour les voix ou les guitares acoustiques et électriques et même la basse . la puissance n'est pas folle mais ça suffit amplement et même sur la musique enregistrée , sortie d'ordi par exemple c'est loin d'être ridicule et suffit pour faire danser , même si , bien sur , la pression acoustique dans les basses n'est pas énorme ! vu le poids des enceintes ça reste très correct ; quand au prix ....

Uber-light & compared to my 1992 no-name, squawk-box, lo-fi lumps, with ancient 12" exhausted sounding drivers & bizzare horns that projected to somewhere in the range of up to 8Khz from new.
These sound like the breath of an angel who can simultaneously kick you in the guts with work boots. Full range, clear sounding speakers. With a surprisingly good representation at the bottom end for their size. At 100 smackers a pair, I like them a lot.

De PK110 is goed te gebruiken als top. Redelijk vlakke frequentierespons, al knapt het er nog wel van op als je wat DSP/EQ toepast. De spec -3dB bij 80Hz zou best kunnen kloppen maar al onder 110 Hz duidelijke afval, en een lagere opbrengst in een soort plateau tussen 80-110Hz. Dat is niet veel en met DSP goed te compenseren. De spreiding is goed.
Voor de prijs een geweldige speaker; ben benieuwd of deze serie ook goede levensduur heeft. De toekomst zal het leren.
