After the success of their K series, QSC launched the KW series as a celebration of the next evolutionary step in wooden-cabinet speakers. The engineers at QSC incorporated all the innovative electronic properties of the K series but were able to make the new speakers significantly lighter and more compact.

Their KW152 active two-way speaker consists of a 15-inch woofer and a 1.75-inch compression driver. These components are neatly housed inside a 15mm-thick birch plywood cabinet and protected by a black powder-coated steel grille. The wooden elements of this speaker have been finished with black textured paint.

Both the woofer and the tweeter are powered by a Class D amplifier that boasts 1000-watts, 500 of which are reserved for lows and 500 for high tones. This active speaker delivers a maximum SPL of 133 dB at 1 metre and has an impressive frequency range of 44 Hz - 20 kHz at -10 dB.

Ik heb er ondertussen nu 4 stuks in gebruik wat een POWER!!
En de klank die er uit komt is bijna niet te overtreffen alleen misschien door l-acoustics maar daar hangt ook weer een Zeer groot prijskaartje aan!!
