General

The familiar StageSource series by Line 6 has been expanded with several extra versions. You can now create a grid-controlled system with speakers that are perfectly tuned for your application. Line 6 explores a whole new corner of the market with their L2M speakers. The L2M makes the perfect PA when you combine it with a second one, but it can also be combined with other speakers from the same series.

The L2M: a closer look

Unlike the L3T, the L2M is not equipped with a built-in mixer but it does feature a DSP processor and a network-control option. This is an ideal concept with fully automated configuration. The built-in DSP processor enables you to fall back on certain presets so that the sound is always in tune with your event or venue. Via L6 LINK, you can link several speakers for a fully automated settings alteration. The powerful built-in amplifier module drives the woofer and the tweeter optimally for a perfect sound.

Internal sensors of the active speaker

The L2M speaker has built-in sensors so that it can automatically determine its use parameters with the on-board position meter. Place the L2M on its side, and it will automatically go to monitor mode, compensating the bass and selecting the right DSP preset on the basis of the information from its sensors. In this monitor mode, any feedback can be eliminated for a specific speaker with feedback suppression. The built-in pole-mount sensor will register the speaker being placed on a stand and add some bass accordingly.
