General

An active 15-inch full-range speaker can usually be used without a subwoofer and still produce enough bass frequencies. The DRX-15A is no different! This highly durable speaker is designed for serious applications and combines a robust housing (15mm thick plywood, finished with scratchproof black lacquer) with powerful internal components. Whether it is used for live amplification of bands, installation use in pubs, schools or meeting rooms or other mobile applications - thanks to the construction quality, it is a highly reliable unit.

DAP DRX-15A: properties

The DRX-15A is equipped with a convection-cooled bi-amp amplifier module. It delivers 220 watts to the 30-inch woofer and 25 watts to the 1-inch compression driver, which yields an equal dispersion of 50 x 50 degrees. Partially thanks to the bass reflex housing, the sound of the DRX-15A is very full and its starts working from 50 Hz onwards. If you still want to work with a subwoofer, you can use the stand flange at the bottom, for use of an optional distance rod. Flown installation is also possible with separately available mounting eyelets. At the rear an XLR/jack input and link output (XLR) are featured. Volume controls and a ground lift switch complete the picture.
