An affordable PA setup definitely does not have to be a poor PA setup! The active DRX series by DAP Audio provides you with powerful and durable speakers and subwoofers. This unit is the DRX-10A, a 10-inch active full-range speaker. It is equipped with a bi-amp amplifier that produces 195 watts of power handling - 170 watts for the woofer, 25 for the horn driver. The DRX-10A is an excellent choice for meeting rooms, schools, pubs, restaurants and modest live setups. A maximum sound pressure of 120 dB is quite impressive! Volume controls and a ground lift switch have been built in, as well as a link out (XLR) for the daisy chaining of an audio signal.

DAP DRX-10A: 10-inch woofer

The housing of the DRX-10A is designed to withstand all the hardships of intensive (mobile) use. A 15mm thick plywood layer is finished with scratchproof black lacquer and the speakers are protected by a black grille. Thanks to the bass reflex construction, additional pressure is added to low frequencies. This will definitely be noticeable, as the speaker has a wide frequency range of 55 Hz to 20 kHz. The horn driver has a balanced dispersion of 50 x 50 degrees. You can fly the installation with separately available mounting eyelets. A 35mm stand flange is mounted at the bottom.
