Usually known for their live PA speakers, RCF turn their deft hand to studio monitors with the Ayra Pro 6. These DSP-chip loaded monitors come with smart FiRPHASE technology that ensures perfectly linear phase meaning that, in a stereo configuration, you get that well defined phantom-centre that can sometimes get lost in the audio-imaging of some studio monitors. Also, this combined tech gives the Ayra Pro 6 an insanely detailed sound, with no holes to be found in a faithful reproduction that will mercilessly expose any inaccuracies in the mix. Since not every engineer will want to face this constantly during the mixing process, the Pro 6 is mainly recommended as an alternative monitor in combination with an A/B controller and as a final check of the mix and master, so that any problems only detectable with precise phase-correct monitors can be amended.

Pro's:
- Uitstekend frequentiebereik, met zeer volle basweergave tot 45Hz.
- Goede geluidsverspreiding, zowel near-field als op afstand.
- Krachtig vermogen zonder hoorbare ruis (dat bij andere merken wel waarneembaar is).
- Hoogwaardige drivers van RCF.
Con's:
- Mid-tonen moeten iets harder worden gezet voor optimale/neutrale weergave.
- Geen rubberen voetjes voor stabiliteit.
- De behuizing / coating oogt ietwat goedkoop.
Deze monitors bieden wat mij betreft een ongeëvenaarde prijs-kwaliteitverhouding en is sterk aan te raden voor de professional of audiofiel met een beperkt budget. Werkelijk een "bang for your buck!"

op een Duitse site, waarbij deze studiomonitor als "zeer goed" uit hun test kwamen en ook van gebruikers als "zeer goed" beoordeeld worden.
Ik gebruik deze monitors voor het afmixen en het beluisteren van elektronische muziek.
Hoge tonen top, midden tonen iets te zacht +1db en lage tonen ook top. Je hoeft echt geen aparte sub erbij te hebben. De bouwkwaliteit van RCF is uitstekend.
Kijk verder dan de gehypete merken zoals Krk, Adam en Yamaha, want deze RCF's zijn echt top!
