This edition of the KRK R6 G3 is the passive mirror image of the extremely popular active KRK R6 G3 that has its own on-board amplifier. But there's no need for a built-in amplifier in the KRK, if you already have a separate high-quality amplifier. That's where this passive version of the KRK R6 G3 comes in. It's exactly the same as the renowned active version, except for the fact that it has no built-in amplifier, and offers the same high quality at an affordable price.

Features of the KRK R6 G3

The KRKs stand out because of their bright yellow woofers. One of the most important features of any studio monitor is the frequency response, since you can only judge quality by what you hear. This KRK has a range that starts at 40 Hz so you'll be able to hear the lows in most popular music. If you want even lower frequencies, you can always pair the KRK R6 G3 up with a separate subwoofer. At the top end, the frequency response will hit the roof with 34 kHz. Although we, humans, are unable to hear these high tones, the KRK R6 G3 also gives an extremely accurate reproduction of the highest tones we can hear.
