Following up the immensely popular iLoud Micro Series, IK Multimedia treat us to the iLoud MTM studio reference monitor. It's compact shell delivers a pleasingly neutral frequency response for accurate mixing and mastering, while any possible phase problems are eliminated by an innovative DSP system that also ensures a detail-rich, natural response. Also, the positioning of the speakers can be adjusted for close-to perfect sound distribution wherever they're placed.

Integrated ARC Reference Microphone for Perfect Monitoring in Every Studio

While most monitors will come calibrated to perform best in ideal listening-rooms, the iLoud MTM monitors understand that life is less-than-perfect and comes with an external ARC calibration microphone. The point here is that a kind of blueprint of the room is made to which the monitor can be fine tuned and the sweet-spot can be found with ease. Around the back of the housing, a healthy number of calibration presets are offered as well as high and low frequency tweaking options to help shape a personalised and perfect, if not essential mixing and mastering tool.

Ik heb vorig jaar mijn Focal Alpha 80's verkocht omdat ik over wilde gaan op Slate VSX. Ik heb geen acoustic behandelde ruimte en ben ook niet van plan te gaan doen. Na een paar maanden gewerkt te hebben op de Slate VSX (welke mij goed bevallen!) miste ik toch wat geluid via speakers. Na wat reviews bekeken te hebben op YouTube besloten eerst 1 speaker te bestellen (er was een B stock). Ik ben enorm onder in de druk. Wat open heerlijk open geluid! Ik had die Focal Alphas met Sonarworks maar wanneer ik Sonarworks volledig op corrigeren gebruikte klonken ze inspiratieloos vlak. Ik moet wel even wennen aan de heldere klanken van het mid en hoog. Ik heb er geen spijt van en ga zeker binnenkort een 2e speaker aanschaffen :)
