A good set of studio monitors is just as essential as a good audio interface, otherwise, no matter what you're working on, your mix-down just won't cut it. Here, German developers HEDD offer up their smallest Type-Series monitor, and set up even smaller studio spaces with high-spec, high performance. This is the HEDD Type 05 MK2.

Features of the HEDD Type 05 MK2 Studio Monitor

Since this is the second edition, you get treated to high-technical tweaks like a Lineariser that intelligently perfects the audio phase, preventing certain frequencies from being killed off before they even have a chance. As such, the initial audio reproduction of this monitor is as tight as it gets. Another welcome detail is the CoP: a bass port adjustment system that can either be left open for more depth, or capped for an even tighter, more accurate low-end response. While it has been loaded with a space-saving 5 inch woofer, the HEDD Type 05 MK2 is able to dive as low as 45kHz, while the HEDD AMT ribbon balances everything out with a 40kHz peak - more than enough range to support the thorough and detailed mixing work demanded by professional audio production.
