Tremol-No Tremol-No Pin Type

Any guitarist who has played an instrument with a vintage-style bridge knows that bending the strings causes the bridge to move also. This usually means that expressive bending causes the guitar to go out of tune. Double stops are another technique that cause this to happen. Until recently, the only way to prevent this was to lock the bridge permanently. Now, however, you don't need to take such drastic measures. With the Tremol-No you can quickly and easily lock your bridge in place. What's more, you can do this as and when required! The Pin Type version of the Tremol-No is specially designed for guitars with vintage-style tremolo bridges.

What does the Tremol-No do?

Once you've fitted the Tremol-No to your guitar, you have three options available: Hardtail, Dive Only and Full Floating. In Full Floating mode, your bridge will function as normal. In Hardtail mode, the bridge will be fully locked. In Dive Only mode, the tension of the strings can be loosened, but not tightened. The biggest advantage of the Hardtail and Dive Only modes is that the bridge can't move when you bend the strings, leading to better tuning stability. There are three different types of Tremol-No devices. This model is the Pin Type version which is suitable for guitars with a vintage-style bridge.
