Kijk, je kunt natuurlijk bij de plaatselijke computerboer een USB-hub snaaien, en dat zal prima werken als je wat algemene USB-devices aan wilt sluiten. Maar zijn de muziekproducers hier ook mee geholpen? Of hebben ze meer behoefte aan iets wat juist de audiofielen kan bekoren? Ja, de MyVolts Silent Alchemist USB-hub is niet een meepakker bij de kassa van de supermarkt. Maar dit product is werkelijk betrouwbaar, stil en stabiel. Geen gedoe met ruis, aardlussen of interferentie. Allemaal geïsoleerde connectoren voor je synths, audio-interfaces en dergelijke. Er is zelfs een UPS-functie aan boord; in combinatie met bijvoorbeeld een powerbank blijven je devices het gewoon doen als er ineens stroom verdwijnt. Bij de opname van audio kan dat net cruciaal zijn, die muzikant speelt namelijk wél door.
