General

The Aeon handheld sustainer is a TC Electronics designed tool that creates contact-free, infinitely sustained notes or unctuous swells, whether playing guitar, bass or any other string instrument. Hit the simple and single on-button and use the Aeon with your pick hand by cupping the extra-deep groove in its base over an individual string. Electro-magnetic waves then vibrate the string for a now classic bowed-style sound while the particular construction of this gadget provides an intuitive playing feel that only enhances the dynamics of any legato-style melodies.

The Aeon: Notes for Days

The distinct sound produced by this TC Electronic sustainer will genuinely last as long as the 9V battery that powers it is willing to last and, if it's left unplayed for eight minutes, it helpfully shuts itself down. Just has helpfully, this electro-magnetic piece of magic comes with a battery thrown in. Meanwhile, the robust brushed-aluminium housing comes in a comfortably ergonomic form.
