General
These STS5D Sorber panels are 168cm high and 61cm wide and are designed to keep sound reflections in check, rehearsal space or on stage. While the STS5D model is primarily intended as a ceiling panel for an A5-7 drum screen, these panels can be placed upright to build temporary vocal booths, live drum booths or whatever else you might need to sonically control.
Acoustics
ClearSonic have developed this range of Sorber sound-absorbing panels as a good alternative to screens. When using drum screens in a venue, for instance, you can literally alter the acoustics of space, which can solve a number of problems; most importantly, feedback. Even though screens can directly reflect sound, vibrations are diverted and dispersed to the back of the room or towards the ceiling. This can create a short slap delay and unwanted overlapping, ultimately confusing the sound out front. ClearSonic have very literally developed these panels to replace screens and solve this problem for you.
