If anyone knows how to build a simple yet comprehensive digital piano, it's Roland. This particular FP-30 digital piano in black offers everything the modern pianist is looking for: an authentic piano sound, the playability of a grand piano keyboard, and lots of extra features like recording function, various drum rhythms and Bluetooth. Because of its lightweight and compact housing you won't have any trouble moving it around. It comes with a sustain pedal while other options such as a stand or a 3-pedal unit are available separately.
The Roland FP 30: PHA-4 Keyboard and SuperNATURAL
Roland's FP-30 has a full-size keyboard with 88 keys which is known as the PHA-4 keyboard, the improved version of the Ivory Feel G. It also simulates the escapement mechanism of a grand piano, which offers quick note repetition for an even more genuine sound and feel. The ivory finish on each key enhances the overall feeling of authenticity. For a bona fide piano sound, Roland implemented the renowned SuperNATURAL audio source to accurately emulate the sound of strings resonating while the sustain pedal is pressed down, for instance.
Practice & Perform
The FP-30 features several practice and performance functionalities. For practising, you can take advantage of the built-in metronome or one of the 8 drum rhythms. Plug in a USB stick to record and save your own piano parts as MIDI files, or to load in accompaniments as MIDI or WAV files to play along with. The Bluetooth function is especially handy. Use it to connect this piano to a recording app like Garageband, or digital sheet music viewing apps like piaScore or Sheet Music Direct. You can even set up the optionally available 3-pedal unit to turn the pages!

Sinds ik de piano heb speel ik meer, zeker met daarnaast aangeschafte koptelefoon zodat de buren er geen last van hebben in de vroege of late uurtjes.
Het onderstel was makkelijk in elkaar te zetten en laat de piano eruit zien en klinken als een echte piano in combinatie met de pedaal-unit.
Voor iedereen een aanrader. Top kwaliteit voor een scherpe prijs!

Dit instrument voelt echt super aan. Ik weet niet hoe ze het doen, maar het is bijna alsof je de niet aanwezigen hamers tegen de snaren voelt slagen.
Ik had in één van de reviews hieronder gelezen dat je niet weet hoe snel de metronoom gaat omdat er geen display is. Je kunt echter zelf heel makkelijk de snelheid instellen. Dit staat duidelijk in de handleiding omschreven. Een display was wel handig geweest als je een van de anderen instrumenten kiest, maar hey, daarvoor zijn de hogere modellen, die ook een stuk duurder zijn.
Prijs en kwaltiteit van dit instrument steken met kop en schouders uit boven andere modellen in dezelfde prijsklasse. Absoluut een aanrader.
