The Neumann MCM System: Modular Instrument Microphones
Needless to say, what's great about modular microphones is that they can be customised depending on your instrument. Neumann's MCM system has been a hit since day one, boasting sublime sound, professional build quality and flexible mounting options. Now, Neumann adds an omnidirectional capsule, two goosenecks and three connection cables to the line-up, giving you even more options when it comes to miking up your gear.
What's New?
If the stage set-up allows for it, then an omnidirectional microphone offers the most natural, true-to-life amplified sound, making the Neumann KK 13 capsule a welcome addition to the MCM Series. To help you ensure optimum microphone placement, Neumann also introduces two new goosenecks - the 10cm-long Neumann SH 100 and the 25cm-long Neumann SH 250 - plus new MCM connection cables, giving you the pick of 60cm and 300cm long models in addition to the standard 180cm-long cables.
