The JDK Audio V14 is a 4-band EQ is made for use as part of the modular API-500 system and is fitted with four double potentiometers. The lower part of the pot controls the amount of boost or cut from the frequency centre while the upper and smallest part of the pot sets the frequency centre. This equalizer covers a range of 20Hz to 20kHz in four bands with overlapping frequencies. Combine it with the V10 Mic preamp and V12 compressor for impeccable signal equalisation.

The frequencies are distributed over the four bands as follows: 20Hz to 200Hz, 100Hz to 1kHz, 500Hz to 5kHz and 2.2kHz to 20kHz. Each frequency centre can be strengthened or weakened by 12 dB. The sound of this tone control has a clean, Hi-Fi character with clear highs that don't get aggressive. The low-end that this EQ is capable of producing is both sleek and melodic.
