Pioneer love a bit of white in their DJ gear assortment. They have proven that with a number of limited editions, as well as with some of their regular DJ mixers, tabletops and headphones. This time the 850 series gets a make-over. The DJM-850-W is a part of it and has been furnished with a stylish white design.
White DJM-850-W mixer
The DJM-850-W has a beautiful white top layer. Not just the top plate, but also the sides are equipped with this white finish. Much attention has been paid to the details and the various black accents provide a nice-looking contrast with the white base. The fader controls and the buttons, among other things, have been given a contrasting colour, allowing for a clear overview in dark surroundings. The mixer looks great in a home setup with white accents, but can also be used in lounge bars and trendy night clubs.
Technology behind the DJM-850-W
The DJM-850-W is a slimmed-down version of the famous DJM-900, with a white design. Some of the characteristics have been borrowed, but the over-the-top functionality has been left out, reducing the costs. The Sound Color FX, with its directly assignable effects, is one of the elements that make a distinct appearance. There is also an extensive effects module with a built-in tap function. It enables you to activate beat-synchronised effects. Advanced settings such as crossfader curves, channel fader curves and EQ curves facilitate a personalised setup. The practically positioned USB connector at the top is easily accessible and allows you to easily and quickly change laptops in a club.

Heel tevreden over de update die ik heb gedaan! Vooral de nieuwe effecten (Sliproll, Up Echo, Spiral, en de coloreffects) zijn echt vet! Vooral als je de effecten en color-effects begin te combineren kun je echt leuke combo's maken!
Bijvoorbeeld de combinatie van echo effect en noise color-effect is echt gaaf!
Geluidskwaleit is ook top!! Vooral als je de EQ in Isolator mode zet heb je een prachtige sound!
Faders voelen ook verbeterd aan tegenover de DJM700 en DJM800!
Usb aansluiting om rechtstreeks aan te sluiten op je laptop om hem te gebruiken als MIDI is ook zeer handig!
Dit is zeker zijn prijs waard als je upgraded of gewoon een nieuwe mixer wil en geen behoefte / budget hebt voor een DJM900 - DJM2000.
En ik vind hem in het wit echt prachtig! Maar dat is natuurlijk mijn persoonlijke voorkeur!
Zeker in combinatie met de witte CDJ 850's!
