The DAP CORE Beat is an excellent mixer for serious starting DJs! It is, however, also ideal for any DJ who wants to own a durable 3-channel mixer that is equipped with all basic functions and a bit more. This little bit more takes the shape of a practical Bluetooth function and a line output that is optimised for MP3 players. However, the core of the CORE Beat are the 3 channels with an individual fader each! These provide you with control over 6 line inputs (RCA). The output signal can leave your mixer via three ways simultaneously: to your speakers or amplifier, to a monitor and to a recording device.

Inputs of the CORE Beat

You can start mixing by connecting two media players to the line inputs of the CORE Beat. Another option is, for instance, connecting a media player to channel 1, an MP3 player to channel 2 (whereby the sensitivity can be adjusted via a switch to the level of the MP3 player for optimal signal quality) and a Bluetooth-streaming device (like a smartphone) to channel 3. With the three supple faders, you can adjust the volume for each source and with the crossfader you can smoothly switch between channels (1 to 2 or 2 to 3), whereby you can select one of three crossfader curves.

Headphones and microphone

The DAP CORE Beat wouldn't be complete without a microphone input. Connect your microphone with the balanced XLR/6.3mm jack input and adjust volume, high tones and low tones to the desired level. The three-way switch is highly practical: it lets you switch the microphone on or off and you can switch to talkover, to reduce other sound sources to a low level while you are speaking. Furthermore you can monitor to your heart's content by plugging in headphones and via three CUE buttons and CUE mix and CUE level controls you can decide which signals you hearing via your headphones at which level.
