It were these features that made the Aguilar GS 112 one of the most popular speaker cabinets for bass guitars to date. Its 12-inch speaker sounds fuller than 10-inch speakers and is more responsive than 15-inch ones, resulting in fuller bass and gnarling mids. Additionally, the GS 112NT has no tweeter, making it the perfect addition for the GS 112 (which does feature a fenol tweeter and adjustable tweeter volume).

Aguilar's GS 112 combines a modest size and weight with an impressive 300 watts RMS. Philippine mahogany forms the housing that protects the speaker. Two bass reflex ports on the front are partially responsible for the astonishing volume of this Aguilar cabinet.
