What is a B-stock product?
A product becomes B-stock when it can no longer be sold as new. It can simply be a product that has been returned by a customer or it may have packaging that is damaged or missing. It’s possible that the product itself may show slight signs of use or damage too. All B-stock products are fully checked to ensure that they work properly and you can find details of why the product is a B-stock in the information above.

The B-stock tab on the product page shows information about the B-stock product. Be aware that this information supersedes anything you may read in the product description.
The product description includes text and specifications about the product in its brand-new state. It’s possible that a B-stock item may be missing accessories mentioned in the text or specifications, for instance, but if so, this will always be mentioned in the B-stock information. B-stock products also include photos of the actual B-stock item so that you can see exactly what it looks like.
B-stock photos
The B-stock photos allow you to see the actual B-stock product you are considering purchasing. The photos show the following:
- Photo of the brand new product
- Photo of the B-stock product with packaging (if included) and any accessories
- Photo showing the front of the B-stock product
- Photo showing the back of the B-stock product
- Photo showing any damage to the B-stock product (if applicable)
Original packaging
Packaging in good condition: undamaged (sticky tape residue may be visible)
Packaging damaged: box has dents, tears and/or holes
Packaging missing: replaced with a Bax Music box
State of product
New: the product itself is new, but the packaging may not look new
Signs of use (no damage or scratches): smudges, fingerprints and/or dust

General
Guild's D-140 is an acoustic guitar from the Westerly Collection. This Sunburst dreadnought model has an all-solid construction that gives it a warm and powerful sound. Its high-quality finish includes special details like a mother-of-pearl sound hole rosette and a mother-of-pearl 'Chesterfield' emblem on the headstock as well as black and white purfling along the top.
Westerly D-140: sound
Dreadnought models are renowned for producing a full-bodied tone and this model produces a well-balanced sound with excellent definition. That comes from the combination of the solid spruce top and the back and sides that are made of solid mahogany. The D-140 is comfortable to play as well thanks to the neck's C profile and the flat 16-inch fretboard radius. The 1.75-inch string nut width also ensures sufficient room between the strings for optimal vibrations.
Guild Westerly Collection
Guild have been building high-quality instruments since 1953 and their acoustic guitars hark back to earlier, vintage models. Each of the guitars in the Westerly series feature solid woods and are equipped with a number of tasteful, luxurious details. What's more, the headstock is adorned with the iconic Guild brand inlay with Chesterfield emblem and all of the guitars feature a faux-tortoiseshell pickguard. The Westerly series offers top-quality acoustic guitars at an attractive price and each guitar comes with a compatible Guild Polyfoam case.
